The winners of the inaugural Golden Ace Awards, presented by 888Poker, have been determined. Envisioned to recognize the most popular poker players and memorable moments from the weekly hit television show, Poker Night in America, which appears on the CBS Sports Network, these first-time awards celebrate the very best of Season 1, which ran from June through December 2014.

After the nominees were chosen, a popular vote was conducted online at the website 888Poker, which has been the show sponsor for Poker Night in America since it was created. Online voting lasted for nearly two months. The winners are as follows:

Best Overall Hand: Shaun Deeb

Best Bluff: Tom Schneider

Best Trash Talker: Gavin Smith

Best Newcomer: Lauren Billings

Best Overall Player: Danielle Andersen

Eligible content included all 26 broadcast episodes, each 30 minutes in duration. Over the course of Season 1, more than 100 players participated in high-stakes cash games. Thousands of hands were played in host casinos, including Turning Stone (New York), Peppermill (Reno), Maryland Live (Baltimore), and Rivers Casino (Pittsburgh). Season 2 is now being shown, with debut programming appearing each week on Monday night. Poker Night in America is already in the midst of filming programs for Season 3.
