Poker Night in America is making new friends and forging new alliances.
Foreshadowing the coming new age when online poker will be linked to land-based poker events, Ultimate Poker, Nevada’s first legal online poker site, will be hosting satellites for Poker Night in America’s upcoming tournament stop. The new television show, which is currently in production, is headed next to the Peppermill Resort-Spa-Casino in Reno, NV.
The Poker Night in America presented by Peppermill Reno tournament series runs ten days between November 15-25 and will offer 24 competitive events. Events include cash games, mega-satellites, and tournaments — including the $1,100 buy-in Main Event. In addition, the series will feature an invite only high-stakes cash game to be attended by many poker celebrities (a complete list of participants will be announced soon).
Ultimate Poker is giving players in Nevada at least three mega-satellites to win a freeroll into the biggest tournament – the $1,100 buy-in Main event. These mega-satellites will be be open to all online players at their site. Players will need to head to Ultimate Poker and log in or sign up for an account to get started. The Poker Night in America presented by Peppermill Reno Main Event has a two-day start, allowing players to play day one on either Friday, November 22 or Saturday, November 23. The event culminates with a six-handed final table on Monday, November 25, which the Poker Night in America crew will film for television.
