Two blogs in two weeks?!
It’s been three weeks now since Poker Night in America made its debut on CBS Sports Network. We’re six episodes in, going for at least 600 when all’s said and done.
We are off to a good start. The show is pretty good and most people seem to like it (most importantly the folks at CBS Sports Network). Our goal is to keep making it better every week.
Working with 888 has been a pleasure. They have some great ideas and high ambitions to keep making this show the best it can be. They are also working on a qualifier in New Jersey that will put one lucky winner at our cash game in New York. There is also a plan to offer something free to anyone in the U.S. Stay tuned for that!
Good news for anyone that has trouble getting the show:
- Starting this week you can find Poker Night in America on: Altitude Sports out of Denver and Comcast Sports Network in Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C.
- Episode number one is available on www.pokernight.com We’ll continue to add a new episode every Monday.
Now that the WSOP is almost over for the summer we are looking forward to getting more traction on the show as well as with upcoming events. We’ll be at Maryland LIVE at the end of this month and Turning Stone casino starting August 15th. Hopefully we’ll be announcing some big names attending these events very soon.
The creative team at Poker Night is already in the laboratory inventing new ways to show the “fun” side of poker on TV. We’ll be trying some new stuff at the next event. In the meantime tune in this Sunday as we begin featuring more of our favorite poker lunatic, Nolan Dalla.
Thanks for the support!
