What were the most memorable moments from the first season of “Poker Night in America?” That’s precisely what an online vote by fans will determine as show sponsor 888Poker has created the Poker Night in America Golden Ace Awards. Fans can choose their favorites from five unique categories that honor the top players and most exciting poker hands from the show’s opening season.
“Poker Night in America” wrapped up Season One at the end of 2014, following 29 half-hour episodes, which aired on the CBS Sports Network. More than 100 players participated in the high-stakes cash game broadcasts that were filmed at venues throughout the United States. Of the thousands of poker hands recorded, only the very best moments aired on the national broadcast.
888Poker is now determined to find out which of the 14.5 hours of original television programming were the most memorable. The first Golden Ace Awards will honor these fan favorites in five categories. Winners are to be determined by a popular vote. The five categories are:
- Best Poker Hand
- Best Bluff
- Best Trash Talker
- Best Newcomer
- Best Overall Player (Most Valuable Player)

Voting will remain open through March 10th, 2015. At the close of voting, a final tabulation will be made to determine the winners of the inaugural 888Poker’s “Poker Night in America” Golden Ace Awards. Winners will be announced to media at that time and specific players will be given their trophy.
