Pasha Kuzmin of Fort Lee, NJ topped a tough field in the $1650 Poker Night in America “The Final Table” event at Maryland Live Casino.
Kuzmin beat Brian Breen in a 2 hour back and forth heads up battle. Kuzmin closed Breen out when he flopped a set of 5’s vs Breen’s pocket Jacks.
In a preliminary $565 event Andrew Hopkins from Staten Island, NY topped a 299 player field to take home over $37,000.
Both events were filmed for a new television show “The Final Table” which will begin airing in May 2016 and will show tournament poker in a new and exciting format.
